The Clown

My friend Jerry rented a new apartment and invited me, Jenell, and Tyler to come see it. My name is Diana. We’re all in our mid-twenties, have average paying jobs, and deal with the crazies of this world like anyone else, but for some reason, on this night, we weren't just regular people going through regular things. We were abducted.

Let me start from the beginning. It all started with a phone call from Jerry.

          “Hello,” I answered.

“Hey!! I finally get to move into my new apartment, Diana! It’s me, Jerry! You and Jenell have to come over! I’m making sure Tyler comes too. We haven’t did anything altogether in a long time. I want to show you guys a good time.” he said.

          “Alright, when?!”

          “Tonight!!”

“Ok, let me see if she has to work tonight, and I’ll let you know.”

          “For real, man!”
“I’m for real! I’ll call you back.”

          “Alright. Later.”

So, I called up Jenell. Jenell said she didn’t have to work that night, so I called Jerry back to let him know we were coming. He was excited, and now we’re at his front door.

“Hey Diana!” Jerry said as he welcomed me with a huge bear hug. “Hey Jenell!” He said to Jenell, as he reached around her neck to wrap his arm around her shoulder. “I’m glad you guys are here.”

Jerry walked off into the kitchen area with Jenell, as I just walked slowly around the place, to check it out.

“Tyler will be here in 10 minutes!” Jerry shouted across the kitchen. “Go ahead and take a look around!”

“Okay!” I shouted back. Even though I really didn't care about seeing Tyler. I just didn't want to be inside of the house that night.

Jerry’s new apartment was bigger than his last one. This one had an upstairs and downstairs. I ended up making my way upstairs, sense there was nothing else to do in the meantime.

I noticed there were 3 doors. I decided to check them all out. The first door was a bathroom. Skip. The second door was a bunch of his things piled up to the ceiling. Skip. Then, there was the third door, in which was pretty much empty, except for a mattress on the floor, a lamp right next to it, and a TV on the floor. There was also this really big closet with French doors. I was so jealous. He had my dream doors. So, I had to open it.

When I opened the door, it appeared to be nothing in there at first, but in the corner of the closet, there was this little black, plastic bag. It was the only thing in there and it looked extremely weird, so I decided to see what it was.

As I picked up the bag, I thought I could tell what was inside. It felt just like a doll, but it wasn't just a doll.

          It was a clown!!

A creepy looking one at that!

What the hell was it doing inside of a black bag, in the corner of Jerry’s closet??

This whole thing seemed real weird to me, so I had ask Jerry what was up with the clown. So, I put it back inside of the bag and headed downstairs.

As I was going down the stairs, I could hear Tyler coming through the door. “Just in time.” I thought to myself, and rolled my eyes.

“Hi, Diana!” Tyler called out to me.

“Hi,” I said back, as I finished walking down the steps and moved towards the kitchen where Jenell was. She was finally by herself, and I went to stand by her side. She quickly noticed what was inside of my hands.

          “What’s that?” She asked me.

“Actually, I would like to know myself,” I said out loud.

“What are you doing with that?!” Jerry yelled out. “Diana, why did you take that out of my closet?!”

“I just wanted to know why it was in there! Why the hell do you have a toy clown wrapped up inside of a plastic bag in your closet?!”

          “Don’t worry about that!”

“What do you mean, don’t worry about that? Could this get any weirder?!”

“Hold on! Hold on!” Tyler yelled out. “All of this over a stupid toy clown?! What’s wrong with you guys?!”

“I just wanted to know what it was! I don’t even care anymore!” I yelled out. I was starting to think about it, and maybe I shouldn't have brought the dumb clown down stairs in the first place. “Here, take it!”

The Clown Jonnie Kae Story
Jerry snatched the bag from out of my hands and the clown fell on the floor faced down. Jerry looked afraid to reach down and grab it. Jenell and I were staring at it, and Tyler was staring as well.

“Pick it up Jerry,” I told him.

          “Alright!”

Jerry bent down and picked up the clown from the floor. We all stared, as Jerry picked the clown up and looked into its eyes for a few seconds.

“Alright, I have to tell you guys something,” Jerry said.

“What’s going on Jerry?” Jenell asked.

“Earlier, when I moved in, this clown started talking to me! I know it sounds crazy, but you guys have to hear me out. I found him in the closet when I moved in. He said that he was trapped inside of a clown doll because of an evil witch’s spell. Then, he told me that he needs my help to get out of here but when I asked him how, he just stopped talking.”

          “What?” I asked frantically.

Tyler started laughing, and then Jenell right after. I couldn't help but to join them in the laughter as well.

“I’m serious you guys! Hey! Hey! You clown you! Talk! Talk!” Jerry was shaking and shaking the clown. The clown didn't do anything, and we were all still laughing. That’s when all of a sudden, the clown said something.

“Get your hands off of me,” we all heard him say.

Tyler jumped backed in haste and dropped the clown on the floor.

Was that really the clown doll? I thought to myself.

I’m sure everybody was wondering the same thing, by the look on all of our faces.

The clown started moving, and attempted to stand up. It fell down the first time, but then it stood all the way up the second time. All of us, except for Jerry, seemed to be shocked.

“What the hell is going on Jerry?!” I yelled out.

“Shut up bitch,” the clown said.

          “Excuse me?”

“I said shut up!” it yelled out.

“Who do you think you’re talking to like that?!”

“Just be quiet Diana,” Jerry said with the saddest look I ever seen on his face.

“Jerry asked you all to be here to see which one of you are going to give me your body,” said the clown. “There’s no more phone calls! One of you are going to give me a body, or I’m going to kill all of you and keep the body that I want! Man or woman, it makes no difference to me. So, who is it going to be?”

          Jenell immediately started crying.

“You’re just a stupid ass clown doll!” Tyler yelled out. “You can’t do anything to us!”

It was right then that the clown hopped up on top of Tyler’s shoulders and snapped his neck. Tyler fell down to the floor.

“You guys think I’m playing around?!”

“Alright, just take me!!” Jerry yelled out.

“Jerry, where did you find this clown?!” I yelled.

“He was already here when I moved in! I don’t want anything to happen to you guys. I shouldn’t have ever called you over here.”

The clown told Jerry to lay down on the ground. Jerry laid down. Then, the doll started saying something in a funny language. Then, all of a sudden, the crazy clown was inside of Jerry’s body.

“What’s going to happen to Jerry?!” I called out.

“He’s fine in there. He’ll be stuck forever, but he’s alive.”

Picture
“Get out of here, you stupid clown!! You got what you wanted!!” Jenell cried.
“Don’t mind if I do, but not before I turn the both of you two into clowns.”

We both started to scream and tried to run away, but out of nowhere I could see the ground getting closer and closer to my face. I felt like I was being sucked down into the floor. Then, all of a sudden, I was a clown doll.

          So was Janell.

The clown left with Jerry’s body, and finally, here we are. Still inside of this apartment. Tyler’s body was still on the floor. We were abducted. Abducted from our bodies and transported into clown dolls.

We made our way into the closet, but who knows what’s going to happen to us when someone finds us here. Do we say anything to them? Do we explain what happened to us? What if they get scared and run away?

We think about these things every day now, but anyways, if you ever come across any clown dolls in your life, please make sure you treat them well. Thanks.
